Occupational Therapy

OT is pivotal in helping you live your best life by focusing on enhancing your independence and quality of life

Occupational Therapy (OT) is often the lesser known therapy profession. However, it may well not be as well heard of as our Physiotherapy counterparts, but we find that a significant amount of our client’s who receive Physiotherapy input, also benefit from Occupational Therapy input too, as their mobility/physical needs impact on their ability to function and be independent with everyday activities. As we are one team who work closely together, the benefits are that you can have a combined/holistic therapy input combining multiple therapies if you need it.

OT is pivotal in helping you live your best life by focusing on enhancing your independence and quality of life. Our Occupational Therapy team empowers you to overcome challenges to make life easier and/or safer for you. As a result, you’ll find yourself more engaged in activities that matter most to you. From washing independently to accessing local shops, to getting in and out of the car or managing your fatigue, our experienced therapists are here to support you every step of the way.

Moreover, our Occupational Therapists work with adults recovering from Stroke, Brain Injury, and other Neurological conditions. Additionally, we also support in aiding those dealing with Falls, Dementia, post-surgery and various long-term conditions.

We can also support with urgent assessments in order to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions as well as supporting someone with coming home from respite care.

All visits are carried out within your own home, unless otherwise discussed (on some occasions, online/virtual sessions can be appropriate).
